2010 HIMCORCE Women’s Conference

The All Himalayan Women’s Conference held its 7th annual meeting in 2010. Christine joined a team of 9 women for this conference event. Over 400 women came from Northeast India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Nagaland. The theme, “His Banner Over Me Is Love,” allowed a combination of topics including forgiveness, overcoming physical and emotional abuse, joy in the Lord and how to have an abundant life in Christ. We saw over 30 women accept Jesus for the first time. Some of the women received new Bibles written in their own language!

Christine spoke on “Yielding False Identities”. The session brought together the Indian and American team in drama and dance. At the end, the attendees laid down false identities at the foot of the cross. Those were covered by the blood of Jesus (red cloth). When the red cloth was removed, all that was left was a white cloth representing purity.



Interpreters helped during the messages and prayer times. We were so blessed to have their help during the messages. We saw the power of God change lives through our special prayer sessions! The power of God fell on each woman as she opened her heart to the Lord for prayer.
