Training Mentors and Establishing Mentor Programs
Whether you are pursuing spiritual growth personally or encouraging it for your church, ministry or group, discipleship is an important need in the body of Christ. RMI enjoys sharing our passion for the value mentoring provides, how it works, how it accelerates the growth of individuals and how this type of ministry can provide stronger and more mature servant-leaders. We enjoy helping others develop programs for their local communities.
Mentoring is valuable both within the leadership of the organization and for those who are the ministry focus. Mentoring can be tailored to address the specific growth needs of current and rising leaders. It can be modified for any age group or growth goals needed for the individuals in the group.
Jesus stated to "love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, mind and soul and your neighbor as yourself." Mentoring, which focuses in discovery of heavenly identity, provides encouragement for deepening relationship with the Lord and helps individuals understand and embrace who they are; i.e. "loving yourself." When these two areas of focus are addressed, the results are individuals who passionately pursue opportunities to serve in their local churches, ministries, groups and communities. They become confident in God, in who He created them to be, and recognize their areas of calling.
